Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your readvivo account, run by Romanticism Inference LLC, along with the data attached to it. You can do it yourself in the App, or ask us to do it for you by email. Either way it is free, and we do not ask you to explain why.

Delete your account in the App

1. Open readvivo and go to the home screen.
2. Open your library card — the card tucked into the right edge of the screen — to reach the account panel.
3. Sign in, if you are signed out.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm the warning.

You are asked to sign in once more before the deletion runs. This is a security step that confirms the person deleting the account is the account holder.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. A deleted account cannot be recovered.

Delete your account by email

If you no longer have the App installed, or you do not see a Delete Account option, email us at support@romantic-inference.com from the address on your account, and we will take care of it for you. Send the request from that address so we can confirm it is really you; we will not ask you for your password.

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your authentication record — your name, your email address, and the Apple, Google, or email sign-in identity behind it.
• The reading data held on our servers, including your reading progress and your record of finished chapters.
• The reading progress and preferences stored on your device.
• Your subscription profile with RevenueCat, the service that manages subscription status.
• If you signed in with Apple: readvivo's Sign in with Apple grant is revoked at the same time, so the App is disconnected from your Apple ID.

What we keep, and for how long

• Server logs, including IP addresses: kept for 30 days from the request that created them, then deleted. They are not used to build a profile of you.
• Reports you sent us about an illustration, including any free-text note: kept for up to 24 months so we can fix the underlying image, then deleted. These are not linked to your account.
• Support correspondence: kept so we have a record of the help we gave you. Ask us in your email and we will delete it too.
• Records we are required to keep by law (for example, tax or dispute records): kept as long as the applicable law requires.

We never sell your information, and nothing kept above is used for advertising.

Cancel your subscription first

Cancel in the store, in the same place as any other app subscription:

• iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → readvivo → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Play Store → your profile icon (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → readvivo → Cancel subscription.

Manage Subscription in the App's account panel opens that same store page for you. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel billing, and we cannot cancel or refund a store subscription on your behalf.
